Nancy Mayer is a professional singer and voice teacher living in the Hague, the Netherlands. She teaches in both Dutch and English and has been active as a teacher for 25 years. Primarily a performer of early music (baroque, renaissance, medieval), she teaches all styles of music and has students that range in age from 14 to 75. Her students are active choral singers, (Residentie Bach Koor, Haags Kleinkoor, Haags Toonkunstkoor, Cecilia International Choir, etc...), budding pop stars, some are applying to music schools, many just always wanted to learn to sing, and others find it a great way to relax and explore a different side of themselves.

Nancy received her musical education in the U.S. at the Eastman School of Music (Master of Music degree) and the Oberlin Conservatory (Bachelor of Music). She studied with the famous mezzo-soprano, Jan DeGaetani, as well as other wonderful teachers such as Carol Webber, Daune Mahy, Diane Forlano and Barbara Pearson. She sings with various ensembles in the Netherlands, such as Aventure, and Super Librum.
She has made a myriad of recordings, with groups such as Sequentia, Aventure, Super Librum, Apollo Ensemble, The King's Noyse and the Harp Consort.
